Casa Vista Fiume, River Lookout Residence, is situated on the shores of Inglis River in Wynyard, this home responds to its surrounding by echoing the river bends by re-aligning the building form to chase the sightlines of the river.

The entry acts as welcoming point and a divider, allowing the guest bedrooms to be closed off, minimising energy loss and directing its occupants directly to the living spaces.

The large opening in the façade provides uninterrupted views to the surrounding canopies connecting the inside to the natural beauty of the Australian landscape whilst proving passive heating in winter months. The butterfly roof mimic the footprint of the building and projecting beyond the wall line, provides protection from the harsh summer sun. 

The elevated living spaces offer its occupants the feeling of living amongst the tree canopy flooding the room with natural light and offering unique connectivity to its surrounds.
